I'm thankful for what Ray did in Miami, but honestly I hope he goes somewhere else. Guy was way too inconsistent last season, and his name alone will demand a certain amount of playing time. Cavs are better off without him.

Cavs with Shump and JR have 2 SGs in rotation and about 5 other players who can play that position (LeBron, Kyrie, Matrix and those already include 2 old bums who can't defend (Miller, Jones)

defense I agree...both player shave NOTHING to offer on that end. Ray certainly has the bball IQ over Jones, but Jones has the youth on his side. whether that weighs each other out is another story though. :confusedshrug:

I personally think Jones is just as good as Ray right now...he just needs the mins to prove it. In Miami, he was descent when he got the opportunity and his shot was pretty good from 3. in Cleveland, he's rarely getting mins and likely a reason behind his shot tbh. James vetted for him a lot in Miami and getting playing time, and James is also the reason he signed with Cleveland too.

Spo never used him to James ability, and Blatt doesn't use him at all. sucks because he can be a deep threat for the team when needed
