When Will I Feel Better After a Rotator Cuff Tear?
What a lot of athletes really want to know is when they can get back in the game after a rotator cuff tear. But it's hard to say. Recovery time depends on how serious the tear is. It may take weeks or months. People heal at different rates. Obviously, if you need surgery, recovery will take longer.

lol i just had RC surgery. It was a small tear and got some scar tissue cleaned up. However this is a really really slow recovery. You have to be smart and take it easy with physical therapy/rehab. Im sure Kobe has the best resources in the world so he will probably heal faster. I still think he would easily be out the rest of the season. Shoulder Injuries are no joke and people dont realize how fragile that area really is.

TAKE CARE OF YOUR SHOULDERS GUYS!, you all may need this surgery when you're older from years of bad form, posture, imbalance and overuse.

What has Lebron actually done that's immoral or dishonest? You could dis him for loyalty, commitment, use of talent, drive, IQ but to be fair he fulfilled his contract before leaving any city and as far as I have heard he isn't involved in any kind of off court shenanigans that would classify him as having no morals? He didn't rape someone, he didn't cheat on his wife (that we know for 100% fact), he hasn't been involved in any bad spats with team mates or anything like that.

If he's even injured at all. I mean the guy was playing one game a week with no injuries whatsoever, so I wouldn't put it past him and the Lakers to fake an injury and give him an excuse to sit out the rest of the season. :sleeping

Umm nah. Kobe had a choice. Keep his go in check and play team ball and contend. Or make it all about him and drive everyone out of LA and focus on his numbers.

Result was the lottery.

Kobe first injured this shoulder in the preseason, according to sources. Has been playing w/ it all year. It just got worse last night

Ramona Shelburne @ramonashelburne
Pretty straightforward: If Kobe needs surgery, he's done for the year. That'll officially be determined by the Laker team docs tomorrow

Can we finally accept how Alpha Kobe is
With this and taking free throws after tearing his achilles, this man competes till he can't no more

At what point do we realize we are not worthy of GawdBe

I guess he was right for trying to rush it to pass MJ in career points. He knew that a season ending injury could occur again at his age. I think he may retire at the end of the year. This maybe the end of a legend.

Shame for Kobe that this happened now and not a few games late. He's 14 assists short of passing Pippen to become the alltime assist leader for non-PGs, which would have been a nice news story for him, especially with his reputation of newer passing the ball.

Now Lebron will get there first instead, and Kobe obviously won't be able to catch up.

Sucks that he's done for the year. He was still capable of doing some great things.

He can probably come back from this injury, but i think it's the right move to just rule him out for the year.

jesus... torn achilles and now a rotator? He's gotta know his body is falling apart.. really sad to see him go out like this.

anyone know where exactly the tear is? I went to school for this type of thing (kinesiology/exercise science) so I know there's 4 muscles that make up your rotator cuff (SITS muscles, supraspinatus, infraspinatus, teres minor and subscapularis)
