Or is Kyle Korver going to christen it?

I bing'd it and I guess Kerr did this once in limited number of shots.

There is no such club with the same minimum requirements (amount of FTA, 3PTA, FTA) as the 50-40-90 club. Korver will possibly be the founder it.

Of the 50/40/90 members, Nash was the closest in 2008: .504/.470/.906

These guys were close (http://www.basketball-reference.com/play-index/psl_finder.cgi?request=1&match=single&type=totals&per_minute_base=36&per_poss_base=100&lg_id=NBA&is_playoffs=N&year_min=&year_max=&franch_id=&season_start=1&season_end=-1&age_min=0&age_max=99&height_min=0&height_max=99&shoot_hand=&birth_country_is=Y&birth_country=&birth_state=&college_id=&is_active=&debut_yr_nba_start=&debut_yr_nba_end=&debut_yr_aba_start=&debut_yr_aba_end=&is_hof=&is_as=&as_comp=gt&as_val=&award=&pos_is_g=Y&pos_is_gf=Y&pos_is_f=Y&pos_is_fg=Y&pos_is_fc=Y&pos_is_c=Y&pos_is_cf=Y&qual=fg3_pct_req&c1stat=fg3_pct&c1comp=gt&c1val=47&c2stat=fg2_pct&c2comp=gt&c2val=47&c3stat=ft_pct&c3comp=gt&c3val=87&c4stat=&c4comp=gt&c4val=&c5stat=&c5comp=gt&c6mult=1.0&c6stat=&order_by=ws)

It won't happen. He'll cave to the pressure and go on a shooting slump

Well if my player in 2K15 counts then yes ;)

Honestly if Korver does it, I think he could be considered for an All-NBA team spot. Good defender and excellent floor spacer. A very valuable asset.

I forgot where I saw this but someone roughly said "Kyle Korver is like wine. He gets better as he ages."

Crazy that he won't make an all-star team with his all around performance. Hawks are stacked.

Steve Kerr went .515 from 3, .929 from FT, and .498 FG% in 95/96.

THAT would be the closest.

Kerr's FG% was 50.6% that year, so he didn't just come close, he made it.

It's his 2pt% that was 49.8, not his overall FG%

He didn't make league minimums though (300 field goals, 55 three-point field goals and 125 free throws)...
That's why you don't see him mentioned in the 50/40/90 (which you'd also belong to if shooting 50% from 3).
3pt line was also closer to the basket.

If Korver keeps playing (at least 80 games) while doing it at this pace, he'll be the 1st to ever do it while reaching those minimums.

Korver is quite possibly the greatest pure shooter in NBA history.

I've been saying this since he was in philly just needed all those seasons under his belt so it can sound creditable
