Rose looking great, as always. My unending worry about that dude is him spending way too much time calling his own number. These Bulls are real real good he needs to get his teammates involved, not just depend on the bench-called plays for the other guys.
They'll be offensively passive by the end of the season at that rate.

Yeah it's another reason why I thought the concern for the Bulls over the past couple weeks was too much. All of their problems were fixable (Noah's health which is questionable). It's not like their roster lacks talent, Thibs sucks at coaching, or Rose is hurt again. It's been effort, intensity, communication, etc and all of it is stuff the Bulls are known for, only a matter of time until they got it back.
Crazy how people overreact , this one being no exception.

Not an overreaction. Rose got the no restrictions go ahead from team doctors today, and all of the sudden is driving aggressively without abandon. It changes the whole team. They can keep an extra man down low and get many more offensive boards and put backs, plus butler can refocus on defense.

Because Tony Parker is one of the worst defenders at his position, Rose/Westbrook get a free lane to the basket every time and there is no shotblocking or size in the paint with Duncan/whoever.

They have to find the mix. Neither Gasol or Butler can be consistently depended on offensively, and neither are spark plugs for other players. Its not going to happen this year. Gasol has spent too much time as a number two. And since Thibes isn't running the Atl, GSW or SA pass game they are going to need a more dependable catalyst/leader. At this time Noah is better for that than Butler or Gasol. Rose the best of the four. Doesn't mean the ball can be passed more but that is more about Thibes than Rose.

I mean Duncan is a great defender, Spurs have some shotblocking but they lack the athleticism necessary to get in position on time. Hence why they struggle against quick freak PGs.

Right now they are, but we're a mess. Diaw is fat and terrible, and Duncan is gassed after December. Splitter is returning from injury but his defense has definitely slipped, and Parker is a sieve (always has been).
It'll be back for the Playoffs hopefully.

Another 26 minutes, 2 point, 1-5 crappy +/- compared with the rest of the team. Please stop playing him so many minutes Thibs. He's like a public rec player at this point.
Seriously, such a negative in so many ways.
It is no coincidence the Bulls played their best ball of the season while Hinrich was out.
Not the caliber of player who should be playing this many minutes on a championship contending team.

i have been saying kirk sucks since day one and bulls fans were telling me he's a vet who plays good defense and hits open 3s. Well, none of that is really true, kirk just sucks. Etwan moore plays d just as good as kirk and is way better at everything else.
Kirk will dribble the ball for ten seconds and then take a long two out of nowhere. what the **** is that about? he doesnt even facilitate very well either. Misses Shooters all day, brooks is the best shooter on the team, and a better passer than kirk too. He should be getting way more minutes.
Kirk is just straight trash, and the bulls need to trade him ASAP. maybe a young team can be suckered into some "veteran leadership" at this point, just getting rid of him would be a positive, because thibs would have to give young darkness and etwan moore minutes.
