Does this means Portland miss the playoffs? They're currently 8 games ahead of OKC but it's going to be hard to keep at this winning pace.

It depends how well the Trail Blazers can cope with the loss of one of their best players. If they can go .500 for the next six to eight weeks, they should still be on a 50+ wins pace. If not, they're going to be a lottery team.

How far will the Blazers fall? Luckily, one of those weeks is All-Star week.

That sucks. I feel your pain Blazers fans. Hopefully Batum and others can step their game up to keep Portland in HCA range.

Good thing they play Boston at home tonight.

Jermaine O'Neal needs to be by his phone, expect a call.

Lillard bout to move up in the race for MVP

Blazers will get through this, Lopez coming back very soon. Leonard has been playing MUCH better lately and same with Thomas Robinson.

Rest up LMA and get ready for a playoff run.

Well Batum didn't tonight. 0 for 6. He is really starting to piss me off.

Not a good start to lose at home to the Celtics. Even if they didn't have LMA, that's still a game they should've been able to win, especially at home.

This really sucks, too many injuries this year :banghead:

The Blazers will still make the playoffs though, they just have to win ~48 games for the season, which only requires them to go 17-21 from now on.

Damn the Trailblazers frontcourt depth is getting seriously tested. Big loss for a legitimately good team, wanted to see them do well this post-season. Not to say they can't, but this is going to make their post season race that much more difficult, especially dropping games to Boston
