You must've gotten them confused with Kevin Garnett, Carmelo Anthony and Tracy McGrady. Jordan, Kobe and Shaq all went past the 1st round before Phil came while KG, Melo and T-Mac all couldn't get out of the 1st round many times and finally past the 1st round later.

Its the talent that does the work, leadership means nothing without it, but talent alone can still mean almost as much as leadership+talent.

First off, Wilt Chamberlain averaged 22.5 points, 24.5 rebounds, and 4.2 assists in the playoffs on 52.2 FG%. Chamberlain choking in the playoffs, specifically elimination games, is a myth that has been debunked over and over again.

Second off, how are you going to talk about Wilt getting excuses for not winning more championships than two when you're a Knicks fan? Knicks are one of the worst franchises in the history of the NBA. They've been here since 1946 and only won two championships (1970, 1973) in 69 years. In fact, Knicks have won 2.9% of championships in the years they've been here. Meanwhile, the Celtics have won 24.6% and Lakers have won 23.5%, despite the Knicks having been there as long as the Celtics and a year longer than the Lakers. Knicks are career losers.
