That has to be the strangest and biggest drop off in history.

I don't know whether I'm more surprised at Gortat's vote total, or Durant's.

Did he just fall off the face of the earth? He's still one of the three best players in the league. Arguably the best.

I remember i tried voting for KD and his name wasnt on the first list, you had to actually search for him. People probably thought they coudlnt vote him since he was hurt.

This is the correct answer. Kind of disappointing that he was left out of the list due to missed time, but oh well.

The vast majority of his votes were OKC fans/Durant fans who actually spent time looking through the list to find him.

Pretty bad mistake on the NBA's part.

Players like Melo who missed a lot of time have a lot more fans of the team, NY, which took the time to find him and vote him in.
