What kind of teammates? We don't need another David Wesley/Bobby Phills incident.

Take away his license and move on from this. I find it strange that NBA players seem to get pulled over whenever they do anything wrong but I bet that flashy car was targeted. You can't drive around in an expensive car and go unnoticed.

Especially where he was pulled over. it's one thing to be speeding out in the rural or back roads, but downtown Denver in that car? Stupid stupid stupid

Why Ty.... :banghead:

If you drive around late night on a thursday, friday, sat night, your odds of getting pulled over increase dramatically. Flashy car, beater, etc. it doesn't matter.

That's the part that blows my mind. They beg for it in those cars

Black guy, in a sports car, speeding, late at night?

Not liking those odds.

It's a shame considering how good he is. He's averaged 16.7 points, 9.9 assists, and 1.3 steals with a 52.8 TS% and a 18.7 PER. He's not a guy that gets into trouble like Michael Beasley, Raymond Felton, or even Steve Francis.

Did he make an AMA from prison?

How do you know how often NBA players do "anything wrong" without getting caught?

Last time Lawson got pulled over and in trouble with the law it prompted him to comeback to UNC for one more season which led to an All-Time great college team and a dominating national championship run in 2009.

So yeah...there's that.

I'm not excusing this at all but, everyone needs to stfu about drinking and driving. I know damn well nearly every poster in here has driven shitfaced.

No, they haven't...Now driving tipsy...of course....Also, everyone isn't the same...Some can still drive drunk/tipsy, some can't...Its up to the individual to know which is which but since most people don't know what category they're in an automatically ASSUME they can drive drunk, well thats why we have to be tough with drinking and driving laws because usually when you ASSUME wrong, you kill someone...Not everyone can hold their liquor...

Now me personally, I'm mainly a smoker now but when I drank consistently, I rarely ever got "shitfaced". I've been sloppy drunk maybe 3 times in my life, and they were all accidents, lol...Now tipsy is another matter and I've been tipsy a million times.......Tipsy = fun....Drunk = miserable.....

Again just goes to show how stupid our laws are, weed is illegal but liquor is legal...99% of the people I know that smoke, have no problem driving or doing anything else while high/under the influence.....
