Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant is expected to miss the remainder of the season with a torn rotator cuff, sources told ESPN's Ramona Shelburne.

Bryant, who was being examined by team doctors Friday, suffered the tear during the second half of Wednesday night's loss to New Orleans, though sources said he has been dealing with the injury since the preseason.

I mean if 2013 wasn't a dead give away of his body finally saying "I give up" ... the knee injury last year after just 6 games, then a torn rotator cuff half way through this season after sitting out resting for a lot of games?
