The problem with screen capture of text messages like this is that most of these are faked...and if it is just some fake conversation that someone concocted for laughs then it isn't that funny...the hilarity comes from believing it actually happened and that is too difficult to do with these type things.

i think most ppl get that, but stuff like this can still be funny because it rings true, even if it might be exaggerated or whatever.

comedians spend months and years working through huge amounts of material and end up with their very best stuff, polished, edited, fictionalised, whatever. in the end it's the material and the presentation that counts.
