Celtics '07 draft Kevin Durant hypothetical

What if the Celtics had won the '07 draft and selected Kevin Durant with the first pick (it has been said that they would have taken Durant first overall because they were scared off by Oden's knees).

Lets assume the Kevin Garnett trade still happens for Al Jefferson, Gerald Green, etc.

The Ray Allen trade does not happen because the team doesn't have the 5th pick (Jeff Green) to offer.

Would the Pierce/Garnett/Durant trio have been more successful than Pierce/Garnett/Allen (those 3 fit together seamlessly)? Do they still win the '08 title with the rookie Durant in Allen's place? Do they win subsequent titles (in '10 and '11, for instance)?

Who plays SG for the Celtics? Pierce? Or do they go small and put KG at C?

I don't see the Celtics winning in 08 without Allen. Ray went for 20/5/3 on 51% in the finals while playing great defense on Kobe. I don't see rookie Durant duplicating what Allen did in 08.

They'd lose in 09 as well assuming KG suffers the same injury, and win it all in 10. Durant wins his 1st FMVP averaging 25/7/2

11 and 12 goes either way against the Heat, probably splitting one each, winning a ring in the year they beat the Heat, Durant wins his 2nd FMVP.

They do one last push with KG and PP in 13, but gets taken out by Pacers/Heat in the 2nd round or ECF due to injury to Rondo and the old age of KG and PP.

Celtics blow it up in 14 and trades PP and KG to the Nets for picks and shit. Rondo is still injured, but Durant goes for a historic season averaging 36/7/6 on 48% and leads the shitty Celtics to 50 wins and snatches his first MVP before losing in the 2nd round to LeBron and the Heat.

Rondo returns from injury in 15, but Durant gets injured early in the season. The Celtics are now tied with Detroit, gunning for Brooklyn for the 8th seed. They upset the Hawks 4-1 in the first round of the playoffs with KD averaging 40 on 55% and fall to the Wizards in the 2nd round.

Kevin Love becomes a free agent and signs with the Celtics in hopes of playing with KD. Durant does not want to play with Love and goes home to Washington to play with John Wall.
