Who is the best actor today?

Simple question, who's the best actor, who's alive and working today?
For me, it's a three horse race between Bale, McConaughey and Cumberbatch, but in the end due to lack of any terrible films and lackluster performances and a great resume I'd say Bale is the best actor imho

Norton is an extremely underrated actor. Bale and Cooper as really good as well. Can't really pick one actor.

Depends on the criteria. If its a case of % of great performances compared to bad.. then its Daniel Day Lewis and Meryl Streep.

If you are going longevity and whos hit high points the most, then there are way too many to choose from.

Never seen an actor playing twins so convincible as he did in Double Impact. His speech in Street Fighter is GOAT. He was awesome in Lionheart, Kickboxer and Bloodsport. He once chased after Steven Seagal for two days in LA. He wanted to destroy him. Seagal was telling people he could beat JCVD. As Stallone put it...he's lucky JCVD didn't find him.

Yeah PSH if he were alive. Not as sure now. I was of the opinion that Christian Bale, DDL, and Edward Norton were the best before I got into PSH, so I'll go with them. Norton hasn't done much lately though. MM has been climbing in my estimation is leaps and bounds too.
