People that wait decades to claim that their idea was taken deserve nothing, if you're that naive and stupid that you didn't notice that Jordan's silhouette was copied then you don't deserve a single penny.

So, this mug sues Nike after 30 years?

And suing over MJ's likeness? How the **** can you sue over someone ELSE'S likeness?

One of the most iconic logos in the world is nothing more than a posed shot. May as well just finish ripping my heart out and tell me they had to teach Jerry West to dribble for the NBA logo

Because he took the picture moron. Plus, before he couldn't take it to court because of the 3 year limit. Now he can.

Dear god man. He posed him in an admittedly previously used pose and never registered the image and 28 years later he wants billions of dollars? I hope the judge forces him to pay for Nike's legal fees for his baseless nuisance claim.

What? The guy who's suing CREATED the pose and took the original picture. Stop this slurping.

No, he pose is a jete. The most common ballet pose. If you read the article you would know that.

I drew a picture of a red bullseye when I was a kid. I should sue target.

"Mr. Rentmeester created the pose, inspired by a ballet technique known as a 'grand jete,' a long horizontal jump during which a dancer performs splits in mid-air," the lawsuit says. "The pose, while conceived to make it appear that Mr. Jordan was in the process of a dunk, was not reflective of Mr. Jordan's natural jump or dunking style."
You're so ****ing stupid.

You don't have the first notion of the trademark process. He isn't gonna win this. They settled a nuisance suit with him 28 years ago. He isn't going to be so lucky this time around.

Yes but they were only supposed to use it for two years.

Are you a layyer who's an expert on trademark laws or are you just guessing like the rest of us

I'd drop the charges for a new PS4, a copy of 2K15, and some gas money.

I'd like to know what you think about the woman that took 25 years to say Bill Cosby raped them...
