Phil giving away JR and shumpert makes trading other players for value tough. Had they waited to give away those 2 guys then maybe you get a 2nd forp prigioni. Now that the Knicks have killed their negotiating power i think getting a trade exemption for prigioni would be a great deal.



Once you show the league that you'll pay to cut salary IMO it would lower the cost of dealing w the Knicks.
