Butler, that shouldn't be a question.

Are we serious? Easily Jimmy! The 2nd best two way SG in the L and averaging 20.5 points and 6 boards a game. And doing it on a title contending kind of team. It would be a travesty if Korver made it but Jimmy didn't!

I liked Van Gundy's all star reserves, he had all the Hawks starters

I agree, but lets not act like he is still playing that way.

Jimmy is only averaging 13 on 41% from the field on his last 10 games.

KK has had a much better month of January.

If Butler keeps playing like this, he is not an all-star and he just had a hot start.

And he is not the best 2 way SG at all anymore since he came back to earth.

Chicago surely looked like a title contender earlier today... Didn't they?

Korver is more valuable to his 1st seeded team. Korver.

Butler had 5 points on 25% shooting and has been basically playing like this all month long. Do you still think he is an all star if he continues averaging 14 ppg on 41% shooting?

Korver as a lifetime achievement award selection.

Butler if I had to choose one but I might have both in the ASG. I'd have to give it a little more thought.

Korver as a lifetime achievement award selection.

He's putting historic shooting numbers, he's crucial to their spacing offensively, he opens the lanes for the offense to run well. It's more than just a lifetime achievement.

I assure you...nothing that happened today will have anything to do with who does or doesnt contend in 4 months.

The Bulls just aren't that good. They are a mid tier playoff team.

Korver wouldn't even be mentioned if it wasn't for the Hawks system and Jeff teague.

Dude was just out there in that game vs the Thunder.

Bulls and OKC are the 2 most overrated teams on this forum, just 2 weeks earlier, I had people arguing with me saying OKC would have the best record in the NBA if Durant and Westbrook were healthy the whole year. :facepalm

If one thing has been made abundantly clear in my life spent watching the NBA...its that nobody knows shit about the playoffs in January.

We will see how it goes.

Stop with the back peddling. You're gonna keep back peddling saying "wait" like you have all year just waiting to actually be right for once and pretend like you were right all along. I feel like you have some sort of egotistical issue with admitting you were wrong. It's not to hard and no one is gonna hold it against you.

No, he plays within the system and doesn't force up bad shots to get his numbers.

He's the most unselfish player in the league.

He does so much for Teague, Horford and Milsap.

You know that you have been saying that for months and have yet to produce what it is you think I predicted and am now wrong about?

You plan on doing that at some point?

Im guessing you...think...you remember something. Mind letting me know what it is since you want to reference it weekly?

Very well put. Especially when you look at the bigger picture, championship teams often struggled throughout the season. Bulls are doing just fine!

We will see, but every player has a slump at some point.

I said he's the SECOND BEST TWO WAY SG!! Klay is number one! If u read my post correctly u would have have noticed that! And sure he's in a slump, but he's still putting up 20 points, six boards and is a great defender! He has MUCH MORE IMPACT on a game than Korver!

people don't really play defense in the all-star game. not much need for Butler. i'd put Korver in to give the East a much needed shooter.

Look, Korver is a having a really nice season but averaging 13/4/3 won't get you a spot on the all-star team. Butler is an easy selection considering how well his team is playing and the fact that he's been a big part of that success with how much he's improved as an offensive player.

I love Korver but Jimmy's been phenomenal this season for the bulls, though he is going through a rough slump. Korver will definitely be the 3pt shooting contest winner, so it's all good.

Lol, another loss against a crap team. The Bulls can barely get an open shot on offense, what's gonna happen when defenses ramp up? The Bulls aren't even a good defensive team anymore so no one is scared of their mediocre defensive effort.

An 82 game season plus playoffs is the true test of sustainability of whether a player is average, good, an allstar, or a superstar.

Actually, 2x seasons, after teams are geared up for your reputation quality plus tendancies.

He's on my team but Butler's hot play this year hasn't even lasted until mid season, and he's come crashing back to earth. He was playing for a new contract. That quality isn't sustainable from him.

I think Korver's 50/50/90 is most impressive.
