Lol that's one way to look at it, but those are your words, not mine.

I respect him more after seeing that because it shows me that he does not do the whole "I fake care about the kids" I respect him a little bit more because he keeps it real. He isn't fake.

But if you want to twist it into "you respect him because he ignores little kids" then so be it.
