Is there any other response than this sucks?

Fck this shit.
Pretty tired of the forced progressive casting that Hollywood does with every damn thing.
I wouldn't have minded some of the Ghostbusters be female but all female cast is so contrived and ghey that I doubt I'll watch it, despite being a fan of Wiig.
Hollywood can be pretty ghey.
I saw the Fantastic Four teaser today and it looks pretty cool but couldn't help but think that Storm needs to be a 'bro' extreme surfer kind of blonde guy.

they have been trying to make a sequel with the original cast for years, but bill murray has refused to cooperate so they finally gave up and decided to reboot it

Didn't Leslie Jones just pop up on TV on SNL few months ago and now she is featured in a big franchise movie?

You'd have to pay me to watch a trailer for this trash.

That's my only issue with the cast...she's the only one I genuinely don't like.

oh the horror

Apparently there was a bet in Hollywood on what type of movie franchise they could reboot and take the most financial loss?

i don't know who those women are, but I don't see the problem. the key roles in the original were Murray, the gatekeeper, the keymaster and that prick from city hall.
even in the original, 3/4 Ghostbusters could have been a variety of PPL.
Ghostbusters is about the concept, the pseudoscience, the effects, the storyline, the character interaction. there is no particular element of machismo or maleness that drives the thing.

And.....? :confusedshrug:
I already knew that anyway, Murray dragged his feet & wasn't interested. Ramis died, etc.
Still is dumb ans transparent as all hell to have a monolithically female team working in gritty supernatral utility position, even in 2015.
:facepalm
I like Wiig but damn they better hire the greatest writers ever for most of my genration to have interest
Sounds good to me. McKinnon, Jones, and McCarthy all crack me up. Probably my 3 favorite female comedians at the moment. Not a fan of Wiig though.

If this is a box office bust it's going to set all-female reboots back 50 years.

Women are more experienced in dealing with vacuum cleaners and white stuff anyway.

Basically.
I usually don't care about politics in movies but for some reason, this shit cooks my grits

Women laugh at bad comedy that isn't funny like this and Trainwreck and Bridesmaids and Pitch Perfect and all of those fat bitch showcase movies.
If that's what they want, I have no problem with studios stepping in and filling that void.
If this is what women want to pay to see, well, there's no reason they shouldn't be able to. Who knows, maybe it's going to be a good movie, but let's be real, it will suck hard, and there aren't even any eye candy hotties in the main cast to slightly redeem it.
