Showtime Lakers was the most stacked team of the 80s. Replace Kareem with Hakeem how many rings? 5? 6? 7?

Probably less if we put 32 year-old Hakeem to 1979-80 Lakers, the same age with Kareem's age in actuality.

But you probably even don't know how old Kareem was.

Idiotic idea. Idiotic thread. /thread

Replace Sampson with Drexler, starting in 1984.

Same age/time-span? They don't win as many as with Jabbar... Hakeem can't really mess with Kareem's longevity, very few can though, if any.

Wouldn't be fair to replace older Kareem with Olajuwon in his absolute prime years.

Besides, I'd take peak/prime Kareem over peak/prime Hakeem... Even with the gap being very small.

kareem is declining fast that he thought of retiring. But magic made him like hes back in his prime. Now replaced him with a prime player. I can see them winning every year.

I didn't tbh... Started watching the NBA a year after he retired.
