Are fans really proud of the rings their franchises brought to past cities?

The Hawks for example. They have 1 ring, but it is in St Louis. Are Atlanta Hawk fans really proud of that ring that didn't even happen in their city?

They are still part of the franchise. Even the Thunder have a ring technically and it wasn't only a different city but a different name.
