We are actually in a better situation than the Nets. And i say that full well knowing the situation we are in. You're us but a few years earlier before we figured out pick swapping means death.

There's not much they can do, they don't have picks for years. And those trades, they aren't sending future assets to the Nets, just similar level players. Nets are pretty screwed for a few years.

You can say what you want, the Nets are in ownership limbo, have no picks till 2019, and are banking on Durant coming to an empty roster to save them. That's your real actual plan. Not me trolling, that's real.

We could decide we don't need Melo 3 seasons from now and flip him then and still be in better shape than the Nets who aren't even rebuilding yet. You're two years away from the rebuild "thought process" beginning.
