Great game by Kyrie, of course. But, it took Kyrie having a career night, and NBA season high in points to win. Not to mention Lillard going 4-19, and the game went down to the wire.
Unless you want to tell me that Kyrie can do this every night, which nobody can. Kyrie needs to stop playing ISO for long stretches of time, other than that, you can't hate on this game, because they did win. I just really ****ing hate ISO ball. It doesn't win anything.

i'd agree he's more SKILLED. Better handles/footwork, but LeBron's athleticism makes him a bigger offensive threat, hence a much higher PPG and FG% over his career (as well as more assists since he's a better passer). Kyrie doesn't have the consistency that LeBron has... at least YET. He's still young though

People need to simmer down a bit. LeBron James is one of the most unstoppable all-around offensive players of the last 30 years. That would include playmaking and transition, where James is freakish for his size/strength.
I would say that Kyrie is one of the most skilled and explosive pure scorers in the NBA today. And, none of his peers can even come close to matching him in that respect when you factor in his age.
But, being a better all-around offensive player at 22 than LeBron James? Yeah, that's a tall order... even on a night wherein he scores 55. :oldlol:

People need to simmer down a bit. LeBron James is one of the most unstoppable all-around offensive players of the last 30 years. That would include playmaking and transition, where James is freakish for his size/strength.
I would say that Kyrie is one of the most skilled and explosive pure scorers in the NBA today. And, none of his peers can even come close to matching him in that respect when you factor in his age.
But, being a better all-around offensive player at 22 than LeBron James? Yeah, that's a tall order... even on a night wherein he scores 55. :oldlol:
Talking sense doesn't apply here. Its all about apha, beta, gamma and what not.

Anyway, Godly performance from Kyrie. The team needed that as well with LeBron out. Also, what isn't getting mentioned is his defensive performance. He has played CP3, Rose, Westbrook and now, Lillard in this eight game winning streak and has managed to come out not only outperforming them on the offensive end but also doing a good work of restricting their influence. Developing into one of the best guards in the league.

With the roster they had before the JR Smith, Mozgov and Shumpert trade, they wouldn't. But, with the current roster, I think they will get into the play-offs. Obviously not contenders or won't even get home court advantage in the first round but even without LeBron, I feel the only teams who would definitely be better than them would have been Bulls, Wizards, Raptors and Hawks. Wouldn't have been much between them, Bucks or Heat but all three, if fully healthy make the playoffs.

So where did the "leader" Kyrie Irving lead the Cavs in the last seasons and the time LeBron was injured this season? The hating is getting ridiculous.

I'm pretty sure OP was more interested in debating about players from the 50s than the Kyrie era of the Cavaliers.

True, I even predicted Lebron's return but for some reason some of Lebron's fans think I hate the guy :confusedshrug:
Tonight Kyrie had 16 points in the 4th and hit the game tying 3 point shot AT THE BUZZER to send the game into over time where he proceeded to carry the Cavs scoring load with another 11 points.
That's 27 of his career high 57 at the END of the game. The kid is ice cold I have never seen such an exciting 4th quarter performer in my life. Lebron is no doubt great through 3 quarters. Hell, sometimes he manages to play big in the 4th. But it isn't consistent he takes nights off (he took tonight off until Kyrie picked the team up). Kyrie always seems to be in a zone when we need it most he'll take the ballsiest shots to tie or take the lead with the clock winding down and he MAKES them.

You are full of crap. Lebron is one of the best 4th quarter performers. Irving is the one that takes nights off like the other night when he had 8 points for the entire game and we all know Irving doesn't do much else aside from score.

Amazing 4th quarter by both Lebron and Irving. It was a historically great 4th+OT for Irving, and a great 4th+OT for Lebron.
Only on ISH would you find a thread that tries to make it seem like it was a bad thing for Lebron that his teammate was in beast mode.

Kyrie is a leader because of his offensive talent. I feel like he's a better ISO player that you can just dump the ball to and he can score in a multitude of ways. They both need each other, though and are co leaders. Love has been a bitch and a big letdown. I've always wanted love and Kyrie to make a sick duo. I guess I overrated loves offense. He doesn't seen to hsve the talent to ball like Kyrie does.
