Does Curry win MVP? Do the Sixers still make it to the NBA Finals?

I say yes.

Doubt it,curry can't put up the points AI could.

The team was built around A.I and Curry cant draw contact or drive like A.I could. Iverson was putting up 30+ a game and IDK if Curry could do that on a team with role players.

wouldnt be an all nba player on that team:

-handchecking
-no offensive outlets to spread the floor.

You're right it was built for him;

Built to cover up his horrible defense/gambling, egotistical play and overall negative impact. Mutombo was prolly more valuable to that team than AI.

15 Curry takes them to a title in 01.

Sixers 41-14 before they traded for Mutombo. But yes he was "prolly" more valuable.

Curry >>>>>>>>>> AI
Serious or trolling?

Folks really underestimate the physical nature of the game when AI played. Remember all those injuries that AI played through and all the bumps and contact he took? Steph is great but he probably hasn't even had as much contact in 2-3 years as AI had in ONE season. Seriously, Iverson was like a mini battering ram. Stop hating on AI. These dudes to play in a SOFT league. Thats all there is to it. Its not a diss, its the truth. You can't breath on players today, even roll players get superstar calls.

One of curry's biggest weaknesses

Not a chance.

AI was a much better scorer and shot creator, and despite being smaller, he was much more durable.

Curry couldn't handle putting the team on his back for an entire season, let alone for a full postseason run.

AI in this era would be an incredible scorer but we would discredit him because he would get to the line more than harden

This might be one situation in which AI is better. Curry's biggest flaw is still that he is a point guard and has an innate desire to distribute the ball.

At the end of the day - a flat out scorer is a more valuable asset than a floor general when it comes to the playoffs.

A scoring Curry would put much more pressure on teams than a distributing Curry. Even now, I'd prefer if Curry tried to score much more often. If he put up 30 ppg, 6.5 apg I think the Dubs would be better than him with his current averages.

Superstar players demand more attention when they try to score. It's simple hoops.

It's a matter of mentality, not ability. Curry could easily score 32+ ppg in the current NBA if he had a pure scorer's mentality. He rarely goes into chuck mode like all great scorers (he did at Davidson occasionally and was so beastly).

Care to elaborate lol? A scoring guard (ala Kobe, Wade, Jordan, Drexler, AI) is always a better way to win in the playoffs. A game manager (like CP3) gets bottled up with double teams and then passes to scrubby players and leaves it up to them. That's no dice in the playoffs. You need a consistent scoring option - luckily the Dubs have Klay so it doesn't make a difference since he is a score first mentality player (as he should be).

Neither fits, but Iverson on these warriors will be better than Curry on them sixers.

Now how would MVSteve do with their warriors team?

That team was custom built for Iverson, so Curry wouldn't improve them. But Iverson wouldn't improve this year's Warriors either.
