NBA Western Conference, where averaging 24/12 and 3 assists a game as a center doesn't get you on an all-star team. Cousins deserves to make it.

bigkingsfan
01-29-2015, 07:44 PM
Cousins would have been a locked if he didn't miss those games, then again other guys miss huge chunks like Westbrook/Durant and still got in.

HurricaneKid

Kyrie was pretty safe once Korver missed.

I expect Dame and CP3 to close it out for the West.

Choosing between Lillard and Cousins is a crime. They both deserved to be on the roster.

Duncan should sit, let Cousins play.

Recognition of excellence, since Cousins hasn't made a all star team in his career. Also, Duncan making over him based on name and previous team success is a huge joke.

Cousin being left all the all-star game roster is the biggest snub of anyone. He's been the best big man in the NBA with the exception of the brow.

Kobe was the most undeserving player selected. He was a below average player this year. I also find the selection of Durant to be problematic due to the extreme amount of time he's missed. Duncan is rightly regarded as a part-time player at this point but even he's played 80% more than Durant.

In the end, the all-star game is an event to entertain children and teenagers so I don't get that worked up about snubs and undeserved selections. All-NBA teams do matter to me since they are supposed to be awarded for quality.
