Practice?

Ridiculous. Lillard is 5th on NBA.com's MVP ladder.

The MVP award has already turned into a team award, now, you are saying that we should also turn the all-star selections into team awards ? :facepalm

Cousins has a bigger impact on his team than Lillard has on his. The only reason why Cousins isn't on the list is because nowadays, you need to have a good team to be considered for MVP. You can be more valuable to your team than another guy, but still not considered more valuable by most.

Shit should've been Lillard's.

Cousins has been the better individual player. He should be in the all-star. Team record doesn't matter. All-star selection is an individual selection, not a team selection.

And BTW, they are 2-10 without Cousins this year. And 2-21 without him the last 2 years.

They lost 17 in a row without him
Somehow people say cousins has no impact because he can't lead a team to a winning record that, almost literally, us as bad as Philly without him

Yeah, I don't know how much people expect from a guy. He can't lead the Sixer's to a winning record. Crucify him!

How would you even know. You claim you have 0 time to watch games and havent watched a single game this season because of med school. If you cant watch games how are you basing your logic?

I'm basing it on stats and extended highlights.

And dude, I know my life is interesting, but it would better if you actually find a life of your own.

Don't need to watch games to use logic.

Aaron Rodgers is the likely NFL MVP this season. Let's say that everything else remained equal, but Tom Brady was Rodgers' backup. Would Rodgers still be MVP? In the voter's eyes, most likely. But using a logical POV he should not be. Why? Because the team wouldn't (in theory) suffer as much without him, as there's a reliable replacement waiting.

Same argument holds true in NBA. If there are other star players to pick up the slack, then that diminishes a player's value. Doesn't mean they're a worse player, but it does diminish value.

Love it.

When DMC steps on the court, the only friends he has are his teammates. That was the mentality 15 years ago. That's what made those guys great.

I love it too. Boogie has an old school mindset, I really just wish he were on a better team. I want to see him in a mean playoff series so badly.

It's a crying shame that the Kings are so awful and pathetic that we're missing some of his prime years.

Today was another perfect example of why since he came back from illness DMC is simply not a All-Star.

Him and Rudy Gay basically Josh Smithed us out of the game with horrible shot selection and passing, he put on 21/13 (5/17 from the Field) and 5 steals and literally had little to no impact on the game. They managed once again completely to freeze out Ben Mclemore who started off really promising this year but the isolation basketball of Cousins and Gay has destroyed that.

Not impressed when your 16-29 you really should not have a All-Star

He also was 11/12 from the line and had 4 assists.

And even at 5/17, he still shot better than McLemore, who was 2/8 with 0 assists.

Now I didn't watch the game, so maybe I missed something, but McLemore took the fourth highest shot attempts on the team and only hit 2 of them. Sounds like if they 'froze him out', they didn't make it cold enough.

Still had no impact on the game, his passing out of the post was beyond disastrous all his passes were off and when someone managed to actually catch them could not do anything with it. He was taking contested long range mid range jumpers off the dribble which were contested by Mozgov and the game was over at halftime.

Mclemore has resorted to chucking cause he knows he's never getting the ball once it leaves his hands.

The Sacramento Isolation era...Tyreke....Cousins....Thomas....Rudy.....zero playoffs.

OK, but he literally led the team in every statistical category. Points, rebounds, assists, steals, blocks.

Except turnovers. Casspi led that one.

Well when you have the ball more than anymore your going to be a statistical leader in a lot of things.

Question did you watch the game?

No, read up three posts.

But the issues you are pointing out (shooting, bad passing) is weird to me because the whole team shot poorly, and the whole team turned the ball over, except cousins had more assists than your PG.

The SG who is super awesome and froze out was 2-8 and had zero assists. How many assists does he have over his last three games? 2. 2 would be your answer.

So while I agree cousins has a tendency to play poorly, the rest of the kings are hot garbage, including Ben Mac and Gay, so what do you expect?

Practice?
