Im a fan of Lillard, but whining about shit like this makes him look weak. Focus on your team, not individual accolades.
If Westbrook missed out I bet the guy wouldn't give a shit.

I like Lillard's fire, but unfortunately he's playing in a league where it's guard heavy.
Every single person deserves to be on that Western roster that's on it right now, minus Tim Duncan probably, but the problem is that old-time legends like him who are still producing are you going to get voted in anyway for what he's doing at 38 years old.
Isn't that weird? You put in your time in the league, become an all-time great, put up decent stats and you automatically get in. You come into the league like LeBron, put up 20/5/5 for your rookie season, you don't get in.

Dame. :applause:
Durant should give him his spot, dude doesn't deserve a spot after the games he missed. :facepalm
Sounds unnecessarily salty. I mean it's not like there is anyone in there where it is an absolute crime to be in. Like a Jeremy Lin or something.

Snubs happen every fking year, suck it up.
lol @ his "competitve fire". Save it for a game that actually matters instead of an all star game.

Damian Lillard needs to shut the fvck up and just play basketball. Snubs happen all the time and you don't see other players getting their panties in a twist like this. Fact is he had a chance to cement a spot when Aldridge went down but instead he played like ball sacks and forced Aldridge to post pone his surgery. He doesn't deserve to be an all-star as far as I'm concerned. The sooner this salty ass bitch shuts the hell up and just lets his game do the talking the better off everyone will be.

Psychology is not in your future.
Who would he have replaced? Klay is having an amazing year and plays defense.
Everyone is deserving and it's not much of a snub when he's pretty much the consensus runner up. If Boogie was left out, THAT would have been a snub.

he only has to blame himself for missing the ASG. not stepping up when Lopez and LMA went down. The Blazers having a losing record without LMA and only him to depend on...

Just about everyone who follows basketball, including me, commented on how it was a damn shame he didn't make it. Dame would have been much better off letting others do the talking for him, which they were.
Commenting on it directly comes off supercilious. I'm sure that's not the way he intended to come across, but it's out there now.
For instance, being this vocal about the whole thing opens him up for this question, which would put him in a tough spot... "Who should you have made it over?"
Since he's so adament that he was slighted, there's obviously someone who clearly doesn't deserve to be there over him. Who is it, Dame?
Again, I do think he got snubbed, but me saying it and him saying it are two entirely different things.

So even though you believe Lilliard was snubbed, you believe he shouldn't have said anything about it after implying he would be pissed off if he didn't make the All-Star team before the reserves were even announced?

Duncan has absolutely no place this year. This IS a major snub. He's the best player on the 2nd best team in the West. Clutch performances all year. Someone please explain why Duncan made it? He isn't visually pleasing to watch, he's old, his stats aren't that good and his team is 7th in the West. By that logic we should take Dirk or Monte over Duncan
This was a big snub

Duncan is averaging a double-double and anchoring a TOP 3 defense, putting the best DRPM in the entire NBA ... He is also TOP 4 in DRtg and DWS; and TOP 20 in PER.
He carried the Spurs while Parker/Leonard/Mills/Splitter/Belinelli all missed a lot of games. Duncan helped the Spurs to a 30

He's shooting 37% from the field in January.

Chocolate salty balls. Stop crying, if it pisses you off ... show us, not tell us in tampon fashion. You're good, but: Curry, CP3, and Westbrook are definitely better. Play defense, do something and separate yourself. Besides getting 55 dropped on you.

How are KD's 21 games worth more than Tim's 43 (assuming an All-Star is someone who contributes most?)
That said, I'd like to see Tim give his spot to Lillard (if that's even possible since you need 3 F reserves). Stop that little child crying. Will make the Playoff sweep that much sweeter too.
Lillard is a complete diva.

I like Lillard but he doesn't need to broadcast these feelings for all to see. He just needs to keep it within and unleash the dragon as the season goes and then knock another team out of the playoffs. We know he's got it in him. We know he's upset, and he should play with a chip on his shoulder and show us a Lillard we have never seen, preferably 1 that locks a star PG down and dominates him on offense.
