How can you help off of LeBron or Kyrie?

Jeezus Bron:facepalm. 2 missed shots and 3 turnovers last 5 possessions. Had an easy score there too. I'm calling this the first game he doesn't score 10 points and breaks his streak.

Will be surprised if Love gets more than 25 in the game. He always has good first quarters then slowly disappears throughout the game.

Tristan has been playing really well lately. His energy off the bench is a key. We are starting to approach the point where there is a clear rotation and everyone understands their role.

That's why all the hand-wringing early in the season was much ado about nothing. Building a real team the right way was never going to be easy. The seeds are beginning to sprout though.

VengefulAngel
01-30-2015, 09:42 PM
The Cav's playing some great basketball, they look like a 60 win team. Shame they've had so many injuries and really hadn't meshed until recently. Could have been battling for the 1st seed.

The trade was really the turning point. The roster they started the season with wasn't close to a 60 win team, even without all the injury stuff.

But, I agree... this has looked like one of the best teams in the league for a couple weeks now. Really ever since the new guys got some practice time and the injured guys got healthy. Completely different team.

Based on what I'm seeing, I doubt the Cavs will look the way they did last month again... for a very long time. They were truly atrocious during that span, even before James took his rest.

J Shuttlesworth
01-30-2015, 09:55 PM

navy
01-30-2015, 10:00 PM
Cavs are playing good defense, but the Kings offense is truly horrific. No spacing, terrible movement, isos. It's not a wonder why they dont win games with a 24/12 center.

RedBlackAttack
01-30-2015, 10:02 PM
One thing that LeBron has seemingly lost which will likely never come back is his explosion in transition. Don't get me wrong, he's still absolutely lethal in the open court... hell, he might still be the best in the entire league along with Westbrook.

But, there was a time when his breakaways resulted in ferocious dunks literally every time, regardless of who was back and/or the contact. He can't do it that way anymore. A lot of his transition opportunities end these days with the opposition simply fouling as he begins his move... which is fine. But that very, very rarely worked in his younger years.

Just my two cents.

StrongLurk

Nah, he is helping quite a bit. Simply having him on the floor to facilitate the offense opens up Irving and Love to focus on putting the ball through the net. Scoring it literally the last thing we need from him right now.

If the lead is 15 or more by the 6 minute mark, Blatt should pull him. Rest the wrist, and much needed rest for tomorrow going to the Twin Cities.

101-90 Cavs. Solid win. Game was much wider apart than that final score most of the game.

Cavs got to travel to Minnesota tomorrow, hopefully they won't be too tired and can pull that out.

Kings shot 36% from the field.
