Misses out on an all-star spot, then proceeds to embarrass himself by running his mouth to everyone, whinging like a 3-year-old. Talks about some massive tear he is going to go on, only to back it up with quite frankly, a performance not fitting of an all-star in a loss.

Its surprising to see him say the things he did. Dude always seemed so humbled. Its even worse Kyrie (who did make the team) tore his ass up the other night and then he says he will go on this "tear" and they lose again. Hopefully he can still play team ball. Portland is a good city who love their team and have really been screwed over the last decade with injuries.

Really? Didn't say anything about showing the league he deserves to be an all-star? What a joke. I'm not butthurt at all. Had Lillard made the all-star team I wouldn't have had a problem with it. The fact is though only a certain number of players can make it and Lillard was right on the edge of that number. He missed out. I expected him to be a man about it but it hasn't looked that way with how he's been talking. I then thought well let's at least hope he backs up his talk. Nope. He played a below-average game.

If anything I would say that YOU are the one who is butt hurt that your boy Lillard didn't make it. He's a good player but everyone on that all-star team also has arguments for their spot. Someone has to miss out. I highly doubt any other player would have displayed this much salt had they not made the cut.

So Lillard saying he is motivated because of the snub is a bad thing now? Obviously he can't just mentally switch and take a talent jump over night. Lillard is known for his work ethic in practice and my guess is that the gym is where he'll put in this new motivation in hopes of improvement. If this truly sticks with him, then improvement through practice should be the expectation, not a mind over matter situation in the following game as everybody in this thread seemed to expect.

Hell of a lot more than simply 'motivated because of the snub'. This guy has said he felt disrespected and as a result is going to make the league pay. HE put these expectations on HIMSELF and when he didn't live up to these expectations in the most recent game, he needs to face the music.
