I thought Durant was the "best closer" in the league

Meanwhile, LBJ dropping 16 in the 4th tonight.

Thunder gonna miss the playoffs :applause:

Durant has been awful even when healthy this year. He looks fat.

The difference is that the Grizzlies are a great defensive team and title contenders while bran got lit up by a rookie.

Typical ISH hyperbole.

26/7/4 on 52 percent is awful amirite?

"The margin of error becomes a little bit smaller when Kevin's not on the floor," coach Scott Brooks said after Durant missed practice Thursday. "He's obviously one of the best players in the world, so we have to be able to compensate for that."

Even his own coach isn't comfortable calling the reigning MVP the best in the world

Looks like being passive-aggressive runs throughout the Thunder organization

Empty stats.

Outside of Cleveland, Washington, and Pheonix, all his wins have been against scrub teams... oh and the W against cleveland was w/o LeBron

Obviously i'm judging him on his standards. He's been worse than anytime since like his 2nd year in the league.

His impact has been low. his real-plus minus is like +2.7

Meh. I'm not giving him a pass because a MVP player should be able to do other things to control the game aside from score. Durant doesn't have those kind of intangibles. If he's not shooting well, he's basically Josh Smith

Ive been really impressed by his passing this year and last year he was showing flashes.

But let's be real. Only so many assist to be had playing with Waiters, Westbrook, Robertson and Perkins.

52% from the field, 40% from three, 86% FT%, 26/7/4 is so awful I know.

I already explained this. Also stats mean nothing to me. His impact has been minimal.

He ain't no 26ppg either. His game has been off this year for sure(judging by his godly last year). Still he has many excuses this year so far, let's wait until the season is over, i believe he will elevate his game, too much talent not to.

I've been a bit more impressed with his passing this year, but there's more to it than just assists. See LeBron last night against the Kings. His shot was clearly off, but he did so many things to make his stamp on the game, even aside from just getting assists. There is a lot to play making that doesn't necessarily give you an assist. Also, defensively disrupting the passing lanes and pushing the tempo of the game... These are the types of things I didn't see from Durant tonight.

Like I said, when you miss that much time, it's hard to come out the gate and be the same. Especially after foot injuries, which means his legs cant possible be the same.
