Thunder have gone just 6-6 since acquiring him. :confusedshrug:
Dion's stats with OKC thus far - 11.2 ppg on 37.7%
Scored 7 points on 14 shots in the loss to Memphis tonight, although Durant and Westbrook were almost just as bad. If I didn't know any better I would think the Cavs purposely sabotaged the Thunder. :lol

JR putting up 14 ppg 36% from 3.

Can't complain about that at all. His defense hasn't been too bad either

3rd biggest cancer, right behind Kobe and Josh Smith.
LeGM making sure Durant will NEVER win a ring in OKC.

Can't stand Waiters. His "hands up, pass me the ball" crap is truly maddening.

However, ole Scotty plays him. Which gives him more value than our usual first round draft pick (which we traded for him).

How could Thunder fans regret something that they played no part in?

Presti traded for him, not the fans.

Presti also traded Harden, not the fans.

Pretty sure no Thunder fans wanted to give up Harden. Pretty sure no Thunder fans want Brooks as coach.

You should actually feel bad for Thunder fans, they had a potential dynasty dismantled right in front of them, and Durant will probably leave OKC with zero rings.

On topic: Waiters is garbage. He is a worse version of Reggie Jackson. I've never seen a player so out of touch with the reality of their skillset. Stop calling for the ball, you can't make an open 3 to save your life and your long step-back 2 will be short. What a team cancer.

Waiters has a disgusting arch on his jumper. Gave me headache just watching it.

Guy is a scrub. Not a good 3 pt shooter and not a good defender, so he's basically useless.

Outside of WB and Durant, Ibaka and Morrow are the only guys who aren't completely useless offensively, and they're both very limited themselves, but at least they can shoot. Other than that?

- low IQ chuckers with poor range (Jackson and Waiters)
- Complete liabilities (Roberson, Perkins, Collison, Adams)

It hasn't worked out in OKC's favor yet.

OKC fans are starting to turn on Dion. Shooting 28% over the past 7 games but he's touching the ball more, so he's got that going for him.

Waiters has always been a dumber version of J.R. Smith, however hard that was to fathom.

Dude is selfish, always starts issues and can not play teamball. Yet, Cav fans were continually defending him and preaching him. Another team where he falters and causes issues, no surprise.

And this was who OKC gave up a first for :facepalm

RBA defended him head and toe. I'm just like, "Dude, let him go. He doesn't fit the team concept. Let it go, let it go. I can't hold it back anymore."

Would be a good time to bump the "Waiters is like OKC Harden but with better defense" thread :lol

I was a better, smarter Cavs fan than RBA. And most of your fan base. I called before the season even started that he'd hold the Cavs back, create issues, and the team would be much better with a different type of player. JR being an upgrade statistically, and ability wise. Not to mention getting Shump as well. Who provides necessary perimeter defense they were lacking. Only the Cleveland faithful got on my case about it defending this selfish goon. A selfish goon without the talent to justify it.

It's only his third year though, so there is still time for him to improve (one of the east all stars, Jeff Teague, was on the end of the bench his first two years!). He still shouldn't be compared to Harden, who was a top 20 player when he on 6th man of the year.

The rest is spot on. Outside of Durant and Westbrook there just isn't much to the team. Yeah, they have Scott Brooks and they don't run an offense outside of iso ball, but against most teams they're playing 3 on 5, and that will NOT get you a championship. Roberson is defense ONLY (losing Thabo hurt much more than you think because at least he could hit threes on occasion) and Adams is still not a good offensive player (though has huge potential and has LOTS of time to improve. DeAndre Jordan didn't become what he is now until his 5th or 6th season). Nearly all the teams in the playoff race are really deep, including the Suns, who they are chasing right now. This is the fault of management, who are known to be quite cheap and not willing to spend the necessary amount to bring in a championship. Even the last two years of Sterling (who also had the same "cheap" stigma as OKC management) as the Clippers owner featured some VERY deep teams. There is no such thing as a low-budget championship team, and I don't think it's possible, as it takes a LOT of talent to win it all, especially in today's league. Until they get better coaching, run a REAL offense, and give Durant and Westbrook some REAL help outside of Ibaka (which would mean increasing the budget), I just don't see the Thunder winning a championship.

he hasn't played this poorly since his first stint in the NBA summer league.

He was lighting it up on good efficiency the second half of last year.. It's not like he's always played this poorly.

Thunder fans love this kid.. Right on here we were told by the great Budadiii, Fudge and russwest how good he is, and about his great defense.

He's a selfish bum. Cancer to any team.
