Unfortunately I had a nasty virus and I have lost a lot of weight. I am finally feeling healthy but my friends are telling me I look like a teenager again. What foods and drinks would help me gain weight the quickest? If you had to gain 5lbs in a week could you do it? And if so how would you do it.

I have a long road ahead of me and I just want to make it as quick as possible. I really dont want to gain muscle by going to a gym because I am very paranoid of getting sick again

No joke here, my grandpa had cancer and was given 6 months to live, but he went on to live almost 3 years.

Docs said it was cuz he was able to keep his weight on.

Strict diet of beer, steak and potatoes.

My suggestion would be to drink lots of beer and CONSTANTLY be eating lots of meat.

There is all sorts of wrong in your way of thinking, but the easiest way is consuming carbs to the amount your body will store excess as body mass.

Beer is a big one. I'm not obese, probably about 15 or so lbs overweight. That's my problem. I come home from work and I drink 2 beers with dinner. Every day.

I don't really snack, I eat mostly home cooked foods, etc., but that beer gets you. I'll cut out beer and I'll notice more room in my clothes after like one week. It bloats you up.

TBH, I don't understand how people can just drink beer like that with their dinner or while watching TV. You're clearly not drinking to get buzzed but more so because you like the taste.

Just but some flaxseed oil and wack it in a milkshake or something. The stuff is calorie dense and also healthy with omega 3s. You could pack on some serious pounds quick if you do it right.
