Excuse after excuse. He's an average bench player who turns the ball over like crazy but can score a little when he gets hot. The problem is that he needs to dominate the ball in order to be effective. He is horrendous defensively.

And what exactly did they run? He just let Lin do whatever he wanted for a string of games while he was hot but then he cooled down and everyone figured out his game and he is what he is. He only averaged 14 ppg as a Knick. He averaged 13 ppg in Houston one year. He's nothing more than a decent bench player. He gets smoked on D and turns the ball over a ton so he could never be a starting PG.
