Is Popeyes the greatest fried chicken in the world??

Obviously not better then homemade by an old grandma or top notch soul food places. But compared to other fast food joints.

Every time I get Popeyes I'm so happy, it always feels like the right decision.

Whenever I get KFC, I regret not getting Popeyes.

I've had chicken from a lot of places and none of them seem to compare. I think Jesus himself is frying that chicken.

Depends on where you get it. Local popeyes always make great chicken, but the ones in downtown toronto always seem to leave everything a tab bit too oily.

They get pretty good business in Canada from what I've seen. My dad and I have been thinking of opening one ourselves for a while now.

Don't care too much for Fried chicken in general , every blue moon will get the Strips , but sometimes they strips be too fried and barely have any chicken .Only real reason I go is for the red beans and rice plus they biscuits .

i swear KFC puts crack rocks in their original recipe since i jones for it if i haven't had it in a few months.

Popeyes has 2pc for 1.29 tuesdays around my way so maybe i'm spoiled by that. its alright but not on KFC original recipe levels. i like Popeyes cajun rice and red beans rice, and they have amazing onion rings.

Shoppers Warehouse fried and grilled chicken are underrated too. actually their grilled chicken is really good.

Franchise wise Popeye's is pretty goddamned awesome. And I love the shrimp option too. I've never had Church's, which I hear is great not just from here, and I've never had Chick-Fil-A. There's a local franchise near me called King's that is good.

There used to be a place around here called Bojangle's that was comparable to Popeye's. And a place called Roy Rogers that was pretty mediocre, but I still thought it was better than KFC.

I love Popeye's spicy but nothing beats Chick-fil-A. Sometimes I don't want that crispy skin, and I could go for KFC's grilled chicken but I'd much rather have grilled chicken from the Asian run grilled chicken joint, "Diet Chicken"

I had Popeye's the other day and it was GOOD! But not something I would eat too often. Where I live they Popeyes, Bojangles, Chick-Fil-A and KFC. Chick-fil-a is my regular spot when I'm working.

i don't really consider chickfila a fried chicken joint/chain, not like they make drumsticks and wings style fried chicken. yeah they got great chicken sandwiches and nuggets but when talking 'greatest fried chicken' its not exactly about nuggets and sandwiches, even if they're fried.

churches and bojangles are pretty much like Popeyes. just like Ginos is basically KFC.

depending on the day you get it, i don't think Giant fried chicken is too bad. its real crispy, like KFC crispy but a lot cheaper. el pollo fried chicken is terrible. hip hop fried chicken is alright i guess, their fried chicken wings are small as fukk but they have a great deal on buffalo wings price(not same as fried wings) and tastes like good bar wings.

bon chon chicken wings are probably the best but thats probably categorized more with wings than fried chicken in the vein of KFC, Popeyes, etc.

I love fried chicken but the only place here is KFC and the occasional bbq chicken joint that does it. The one near me does but it's all hard and nothing like proper fried chicken.

I realize you specifically said you were talking about chain restaurants but in the event you're in LA, and you're not a broke ass cheapskate like most of ISH, go to A-Frame and get their Cracklin Beer Can Chicken, fuhuhuhuhucking chronic. Their cocktails are outrageous too, one of the best restaurants in town.
