I wouldn't say they're playing bad.. anyway, they won't miss a beat.

Dallas can take Shane Larkin back for a draft pick.

They are barely playing 500 ball last 10 games.

Yeah, there are bad losses to the Rockets and Pelicans in there.. but if you're a Western team you're bound to have a stretch like that..

It'd be pretty crazy if this results in enough losses to put the Mavs out of the playoffs by the end of the season.

:biggums:

What are they gonna miss? His average defense, worst free throw shooting in the NBA, scoring liability? Or assists on a team that without him already was one of the most high scoring, best offenses and assist ranked teams in the league?

Like I said, they're an equal if not better team without him.

:whatever:

He is by far the best perimeter defender on the team

If you actually watch the statistics, they are a top 10 defense and a top 10 offense team after the Rondo trade. The bench however is clearly below average now, and gets outscored nearly every night.

Well...I mean.

You play the Grizzlies twice, Rockets, Bulls, Clippers, and Pelicans in the last 12 games and I doubt many teams outside the Warriors and Hawks are coming away much better than 7-5.

So it's hard to say bad...especially for the Mavs. A team that hasn't beaten many good teams all year.

"Bad" implies they are underperforming vs a normal standard. Go back and check the record before the Rondo trade. You'll find we hardly beat any good teams. We just had an absurdly easy schedule early on.

Still have hope for a playoff series...

"Rondo out with broken...shot"
