Truthfully, the Bulls look weak lately and the top three teams in the East are unproven. Probably no team in the East will win the 2015 title unless we start losing Western teams to plane crashes. I would be surprised if GSW, Memphis, or Portland get taken out in the finals if either of them get there.

The Hawks are definitely a threat to win the title with a 19 game win streak, a 40-8 record overall, and a 13-2 record in the Western Conference. The Cavaliers have won 10 in a row, with everyone fitting in, finally becoming the title contenders that was expected of them at the beginning of the season. Raptors have also shown they can compete against any team with a 33-15 record. Wizards are an even better team than last year with the swap of Trevor Ariza with Paul Pierce. A healthy Bulls team is only one of five Eastern Conference teams that could potentially win it all.

While regular-season success doesn't necessarily translate into playoffs success, the Atlanta Hawks have won 33 of their last 35 games, showing they can beat any team in the league, not just the lottery-bound ones. They're championship contenders whether you likes it or not.

they are still not a proven team in the playoffs, so I don't see them as contenders. I see them as a good regular season team. You know very damn well that the postseason is a different world and I still think the hawks will crumble just like the raptors losing in the first round to tha AARP nets last season.

So before the playoffs began, the 2008 Lakers, with a record of 57-25, were just a good regular season team? How about the 2011 Heat or Bulls, with respective records of 58-24 and 62-20? While the postseason is different, the Hawks are championship contenders based on their dominance in the Eastern Conference and how well they've played this season. The Raptors last season only won 48 games (as opposed to 50+), faced a Nets team that won 34 of their last 51 games, after starting the season 10-21, and still were one blocked shot by Paul Pierce away from reaching the 2nd round. Also, the current Hawks team are easily better than the 2013-14 Raptors.

Why should I even explain? Your retarded ass says the Bulls are the only team in the East that will make the finals. They're not even playing like the best team in the East right now. Did you suddenly forget about the Hawks and how successful they've been this season, or are you just a blind moron? That team is playing like the best in the league right now, and there's no question. Currently on a 19 game winning steak going on 20. Hawks have multiple all-star level players, a great coach and really well balanced team. Wizards have a dangerous duo in Wall and Beal, and a very solid cast around them. Same with the Raptors. At the start of the season, the Cavaliers were disappointing but right when LeBron came back, they started to find their groove. Now they look legit.
Bulls' record vs top Eastern conference teams...
vs Cavaliers: 0-2
vs Raptors: 2-0
vs Hawks: 0-2

I know regular season doesn't mean everything but it does show something. Bulls have been struggling against Hawks, Cavaliers, and Wizards. One of those teams could give them troubles in the playoffs. Now im not hating on the Bulls in any way, im just trying to prove to you that there are other teams besides the Bulls that have a chance to make the NBA Finals and potentially win the title.

The 2008 Lakers had Kobe Bryant, who had missed the playoffs once and lost in the first round twice in the last three years, Pau Gasol, who had been swept all three times he went to the playoffs, and no other stars with Lamar Odom, Andrew Bynum, and Derek Fisher starting plus several role players. The 2011 Heat had no experience together as a team but managed to make the Finals despite basically consisting of two superstars, an All-Star, and role players. 2011 Bulls had no experience besides being bounced out the 1st round two years in a row. They made the Eastern Conference Finals, which shows they went far in the playoffs.

Why are you arguing with that brainless person? It's like talking to a wall. You're bringing up great points which could be discussed\debated with someone normal but with him it's impossible.
You're 100% right anyways. While the Bulls system is build to work efficiently in the playoffs, Thibs pushes his players to the ground, they're injury prone, and have been struggling. The Cavaliers would be the clear favorite in that series, and the Wizards as well. I think the Hawks would give them a great series as well.

So based on the Bulls recent slump and the Cavs recent resurgence, that suddenly changed people's opinions on Bulls being the favorite in the East?
Whether you want to acknowledge it or not, the Cavs main core have very little playoff experience and that counts for a lot in pressure games where scores are often tight. Their defense might be better, but playoffs ready better? I strongly doubt it. Not in less than a year, you need to build chemistry.
Clear favorites my ass. Butler had that Lebitch struggling all game last time.
But as usual, Lebron always has a stacked deck to come through for him if he struggles to score.
