Shit like this makes me scared to do my Asia trip. It seems these Asian airlines are having a bunch of problems recently.

Youre a dumbass if you fly in a prop engine plane. Look at that plane and how big it is and it only has 2 prop engines.

Pretty hot flying by the pilot it seems, to miss all the buildings and crash wing first into a river. Saved a bunch of lives there.

Oh it's beyond paranoia. It's a fear of death/dying, whatever.
More so, the fear of not being in control.
I've been passed up on jobs in the past for not agreeing to fly to a designated training area.

That's some bang up driving by that cab driver to keep that thing on the road. I almost killed seven people this morning when a chunk of ice fell off the truck in front of me.

that prop engines have a higher failure rate than jet engines. even if 1 jet engine fails, the other one can propel the plane to land safely. 1 prop engine wont do that. people die often in those small prop engine planes all the time, you just dont hear about it in the news.
this is a similar sized plane, it has 4 prop engines. that one only has 2.

Got to like that call into work, "Yea, I'm not coming into today. A plane crashed near me and my car was the first thing the plane hit with it's wing and it's totaled."

best flight I've ever had
really? singapore airlines is the shit!
Can confirm Cathay is chill. EVA Air is chill also. Worst I've ever had is Air France.
But each airline has planes of varying degrees of crap.
really? singapore airlines is the shit!Never flew on that one...
not that this would stop me from flying Singapore airlines but I landed in Taipei just hours after the Singapore jet crashed there in the late 90s
the sun was just coming up and off to the left you could see stuff scattered all over the place. had no idea what we were looking at but you knew it wasn't normal, i'd landed there before a few times but I hadn't heard a word about it at until we landed..
ended up spending the night in taipei because only incoming trans pacific flights were allowed to land for the rest of the day
Edit: i'll just leave this here since it was mentioned before
