The FCC grew a pair. I didn't expect it.

Who knows if it'll mean anything long term though.

Probably means there will be a compromise bill introduced that restores the previous neutral system. Although it would be phenomenal if they forced ISP's into Title II utility status and regulated them similar to the water, phone, and electric company.

My favorite part of this was once Obama finally got behind net neutrality the call went out to conservative commentators to fight for the ISPs by calling it Obamacare.

Net Neutrality Is the Next Con

RUSH: The smartest thing to do is distrust anything coming out of this Regime. There's something out there that they're pushing, and it can be really complicated, if you listen to the wrong people about it, and that's called "net neutrality."

It's something that is totally mis-titled. There's nothing "neutral" about net neutrality, what the Regime wants to do. But here's the thing. I'm telling you, you don't even need to know what it's about. All you need to know is who is behind it, and that alone should disqualify your support. It's the same people that had given us Obamacare and the same way they did it: They lied through their teeth, misrepresented it, ran a con game.

They're still running the con.
Ted Cruz
"Net Neutrality' is Obamacare for the Internet; the Internet should not operate at the speed of government," Cruz wrote on Twitter.

Cruz's spokeswoman, Amanda Carpenter, added that net neutrality would place the government "in charge of determining pricing, terms of service, and what products can be delivered. Sound like Obamacare much?"

Their problem was that unlike the giant complicated healthcare system, many more people work in an understand tech including tons of conservatives

It's really sad, because Ted Cruz is a smart guy.

He literally says whatever will rile up his conservative base, no matter how false it is.
