Been noticing this guy has been putting up beast stats lately. Can any Lakers fans tell me if this guy is having an impact out there or just putting up empty stats?

Any points he puts up he also gives up on defense to the opposing team. Boozer is absolute garbage.
Not a Laker fan, but he doesnt play defense consistently and at times cant be relied upon to make layups. On the right team he could of course have an impact as he isnt a d league scrub type player.

Was thinking when this guy was cut that he could of potentially helped the Thunder as a big off the bench, maybe not.

His lack of defense is too costly to even risk decent numbers off the bench. I would avoid him.

Cant go wrong with a cheap ass rotation player in my opinion. Even Boozer.
I wouldnt trust him on the Thunder though.

The Lakers need to go into full tank mode and release him.
Then he'll probably sign with the Blazers, Mavs or Rockets.

He couldn't honestly be that bad of a defender if he was apart of the #1 defense with the Bulls?

Gibson, Deng, Noah and Asik get the credit for that

Taj Gibson took his crunch minutes.

Sanders, Zaza, Ilyasova, Jabari, Kenyon, etc all out...Johnny O'Bryant was playing meaningful minutes, and it almost lost us the game. And it doesn't help that Henson was garbage tonight.
Boozer isn't a total scrub...but he did torch what is right now one of the weakest front lines in basketball.

Yeah aint saying he was a key cog or anything but he couldn't of been that bad, if he was I doubt the Bulls would of been #1

I don't think he's as terrible as people make out, I still think he's a serviceable bench guy but he is bad on D, not just average but bad. It's easier to hide that when you have a bunch of great defenders around him.

he's not that great on offense either. he's a decent pick and pop guy, but his jumper is so awkward that he'll never be as consistent as an ilgauskas or amar'e (when he had knees). he's also undersized and really struggles to finish over bigger, longer guys. almost anytime boozer goes up with one of his patented soft layups, he either bricks hard or gets rejected.

His effect on team energy, effort and defense is stunning.
It's some kind of magic spell. He sucks winning mentality out of everyone he's around.
A cancer in the truest sense of the word.
