I don't see it. Andrew was more of a bruiser Hassan is more athletic. Someone said Deandre Jordan (plowking i think) and honestly that's not a bad comparison. I don't think Hassan is quite as athletic but he has better touch, and ft shooting. And i think he's got a bit more length.

When you're 7' and athletic you can probably be cocky

Hassan is nothing like Bynum. Bynum had no athletic ability. None. Couldn't jump over a crack in the cement. But he had uncanny instincts on positioning. Used his body very well, soft touch around the rim and he was a legit 7 footer at 290lbs.

Sucks what happened to him because he could have still been dominant today since he didn't rely on athleticism at all.

Perhaps someone doesn't know the difference between not relying on athletism and not even being able to walk down a bowling alley without breaking their knees.

On the court? Nothing alike. Bynum was a back to the basket kind of player.
He had some athleticism but it was lost when he injured his knees 2 seasons in a row, so he just used his length and position skills to play.

Hassan firstly reminded me of Tyson Chandler but he then showed a nice jumper. I never seen Tyson shoot fade aways, so I don't think I can find a proper comparative.

He reminds of prime Marcus Camby more than Bynum.

He reminds me of the greatest player to ever play for the Heat. And that's because he is.

Maybe OP is talking about his demeanor and not how he plays the game. :confusedshrug:

This Heat team could surprise some people in the playoffs. If they are the 8th or 7th seed and play Atlanta or Washington an upset would not be out of question. A group of players who have won rings and a newly minted bruiser who gives you great rebounding and blocking. Luol Deng is nothing to scoff at. Maybe they trade for a better point guard? If they could get one of the Suns' 3 dudes they could do some serious damage.

One of the best comparisons I've seen for Whiteside actually. He can't pass like Camby could but his length, shotblocking, rebounding and scoring ability mirror Camby a lot.

Lol wtf have you been watching? Camby is a good comparison. Even a bigger Birdman is a better description than Bynum.

He has very similar demeanor/movements to Bynum.
Around the basket he uses similar movements.

Slightly different style of player though.

Anyone near NBA level has a high level of confidence, with many being arrogant to an extent.
