They were 26th to start the season, jumped to 24th in december, and now they are 21st. It has been announced that the Golden State game has been sold out, and will pass Orlando and Brooklyn in average attendance tonight.

Still, it's a shame that with how well the Hawks are playing, they will only be 19th. But anyone who has been watching the Hawks at home know that they finally have homecourt advantage.

I love it. I hope it stays like this forever. It took an amazing season for Atlanta to finally have it's fans support them. I expect them to be top 15 by season's end.

Also, Atlanta is top 10 in NBA in TV ratings. So there are people tuning into the games, just not going.

I believe Hawks have sold out 22 games this season, already more than last years.

Good point. I've search around for rankings for TV ratings for nba teams and couldn't seem to find anything. I feel like that would shed some better light on the hawks popularity than attendenace numbers
