There has to be a condition where the MVP is stripped from the winner if he completely shits the bed in the 1st round.

Davis is in contention for best player, but not MVP simply because of previously established guidelines based on needing to be a top team.

Davis has no chance. LeBron probably doesn't either. It's going to be Curry or Harden.

The people who vote for MVP would really be going against their whole process if Anthony Davis manages to win. Would it be the lowest seeded team in the history of the NBA to have the MVP?
