Funny thing is, if Blake is really better, why doesn't he get the lion share of blame when they lose in the playoffs despite playing inferior?

Hmmm, well when CP was out last year, I recall Blake playing like the best player in basketball and keeping the Clippers competitive each night while maintaining a winning record.

The team certainly wasn't getting blown out by 30.

The team certainly wasn't getting blown out by 30.They lost by 24 to the Spurs in Paul's 1st game out and were losing by 35 at one point.

Also they were facing below .500 teams during that whole run and lost to every above average team they faced. Completely different from LAC's current schedule where they're facing elite teams every game for the next couple of weeks.

What does this have to do with this season anyways? Both CP and Blake are playing way worse than they did last year.

You have to stop living in a fantasy world in which Paul hasn't significantly declined from his prime years.

This isn't NO CP3 anymore. He can no longer get to the basket and his only form of offense when he's not passing is an isolated dribble into a jumpshot.

You can hang onto the belief he has a larger impact than Blake if you want, but I think it's obvious to most that it's not the case.

And I know CP has significantly declined. Blake still hasn't emerged as the better player to me yet. CP is still a clearly more efficient offensive player that does more for their offense and plays tougher defense on the other end. Blake is 10-11 inches taller, much more athletic and gets 2 more boards per game.

CP3 has declined, no doubt about it.

Night in night out he is up against a top pg, how many great Pfs are there for Blake to play against? CP3 is 30.... Blake is 25, Blake SHOULD be carrying this team, instead he just shoots jumpers.

You don't need to argue for CP3 anymore champ, he's been doing his thing for 10 years now, Blake has yet to do it for 1 consistent season (yes including playoffs). Even with all of his physical gifts.

These guys know it, and it frustrates them, so they just blame CP3. "Well if he is this this and this why aren't we winning rings?". And they'll still be saying the same thing when CP3 is 35 and Blake STILL hasn't learnt to impose himself... "Oh but if CP3 is the greatest why aren't bla bla bla".

Blake was out with a broke elbow and Big Baby Davis went out with a broke back. So there was no interior defense. This game was easier than any of the games McGary has played in the D-League.
