With or without him the Lakers were going nowhere this year. He was a great player but those days are over, it's time to accept that he no longer has a positive impact on the court and that it's time to look to the future.

You seem to imply the Lakers are as good without Kobe Bryant as they are with him, which is utterly ridiculous, considering they are 10-25 with him and 3-13 without him. Also, I don't see when Kobe was ever expected to lead them to more wins than losses this season with a lottery-bound roster.
