2 in particular were pretty disgusting, he basically cupped the ball.
But that's the NBA these days, been getting progressively worse since MJ.

Nice thread backfire op. :applause:

Good play by Kyrie but Lin did fine on that play... he got picked that's all not like Kyrie did some spectacular move that made Lin look foolish, Irving jut dribbled around until Lin was knocked out off the play then attacked the paint

To be fair, no one can guard Irving. Put Lin on an average guard like lets say...Jason Terry? And he actually does a decent job.

A bit of hyperbole on your part, but yeah, he got destroyed. Dude has always been sh!t on defense.

He does that multiple crossover thing all the time. I heard another player -- I think Lillard -- talking about it a couple weeks ago... that Kyrie will often cross a guy over and get a little space, but then crossover again and reverse course. He generates several more steps of space by doing that.

^^^Actually had Prigioni beat on the first crossover. The second one turned him completely around. Lin did better than that on OP's play... but not as well at other points in the game. Irving was blowing past him basically whenever he wanted.

I was at that game! My friend got really good seats for free. IIRC Kyrie dropped 38 points and 8 assists and it was one of the best games at that point in his young career. I remember JR looked a step slow because he was just coming back from knee surgery.

Nice man.

I remember that game well. He had 37/11 and took Felton and Prigioni to school all night long. Here are the complete highlights...

It's one thing to see that handle on television... watching the speed of the game live and how he's able to change direction without losing any control is ridiculous.

That was the closest I've ever been to the court (second deck, first row, right behind the broadcast cameras) and you really do gain a new appreciation of the athleticism when you're up close like that. For the most part everyone is massive and the contact players receive near the basket seems way more violent. Also the game goes by so quick. If you look away for a second you risk missing something amazing.
