I've seen some great games in all the years I've been watching basketball, but a few stick out in my mind. Ironically, being the biggest Jordan fan (or stan, if you will) here, none of my favorite games feature MJ. I think that's because I could never enjoy the games when the Bulls played as I was too focused on them winning.

Anyways, here are the three that make my list:

Louisville vs Houston, 1983 NCAA Final Four

Phi Slamma Jamma vs the Doctors of Dunk. Dream and Glide lead the Cougars to a win over a great Cardinals team

Team USA vs Spain, 2008 Summer Olympics Men's Gold Medal Game

Kobe Bean Bryant and Dwyane Wade lead Team USA to the Gold in an epic showdown with Team Spain.

UNC vs Duke, 1995

Probably the greatest game ever played between these two rivals, UNC outlasts Duke in Double OT after the Blue Devils make an incredible comback, lead by Jerry Stackhouse (who had a monster reverse dunk of a fastbreak) and Rasheed Wallace. Duke coach Mike Shesh--Sheshesk--**** it--Coach K missed the game (and most of that season) with a back injury, and it looked like his boys (who were 0-7 in the ACC at that point) would get blown out on their own court, but Jeff Capel lead the Dookies back with an impossible 3-pointer to tie the game and send it to Double OT, only for them to fall short of the comeback.

Sir, if you are not going to participate in this thread, I'm going to have to ask you to remove yourself from the premises. If you continue to disturb the other posters here, I will be forced to thrash you.

Good day.

I SAY GOOD DAY!

You do realize that not everyone on this site has 5 accounts that they post on all day, right? You on the other-hand are very different from most posters around here, but that's ok Dragic because you literally have autism.

Game 6 of the 2013 finals, maybe because it's still fairly fresh. The stakes, the 4th qtr comeback, the shot. Incredible game. I agree though the 08 gold medal game was awesome as well and honorable mention to game 6 in the 98 finals, which I feel was the biggest moment I'd witnessed in the finals until Ray's dagger.

Nice choices, OP.

Kobe outscoring Mavs by himself through 3 quarters
Kobe's 81 point game
LeBron's 50 point TD
LeBron going balistic @ the Palice
LeBron's do-or-die Game 6 vs the Celtics (2012)
LeBron's Game 7 vs the Spurs in the Finals

Jordan's 13 conseuctive FG's in the 91 Finals
Jordan's 62 vs the Celtics (playoffs)
Magic taking over the Finals as a rookie
Reggie vs Knicks in the postseason (particularly in 1993 and 1994)
Dominique Wilkins scoring 57 on Jordan (would love to see this game in FULL)
Mavs vs Warriors (2007 playoffs)
Knicks vs Bulls (1992 and 1993 playoffs)
Kings vs Lakers WCF (2002)

Old school:
Walt Frazier's Game 7 in the 1970 Finals (36/19/7/4 against Chamberlain, West, and Baylor -- that game is remembered for Willis Reed walking onto the court and rightfully so but Frazier's performance was what won the title for the Knicks in that game).

Not the greatest as in competition wise or an epic performance by a player, but when Jordan came back from his retirement, his first game back.

I lived in Alaska at the time, and the games would air pretty early, 9am my time. I was in third grade at the time, my dad worked night shifts, and it was my mother's only day off, so Sundays were the only days my folks got to sleep in. I would usually wake up super early and play games or watch cartoons at a super low volume, like at a 3 volume.

Knowing that my dad was a Jordan stan, (not 3ball level but pretty bad) I turned up the sound to like 30 and woke his ass up. He looked PISSED when he woke, but when I looked at him and said "dad, Jordan's back!" He said oh shit, had the biggest smile on his face and watched the whole game with me.

Just a memory from my childhood, so that had to be the greatest game I've witnessed.

Too many great games to count, but if we're talking fairly recent games, my favorite player outside of the Celtics, Dirk, after Wade and Bran mocked his sickness and all Dirk said to the Media was "I think that was immature" and proceeding to absolutely torch those clowns the next game was an insane treat.

These two came to mind first:

Tim Hardaway buzzer vs the Knicks in 2000
Wade vs Chicago double overtime and two buzzer beaters (2009)

2011, Round 1, Game 4, Brandon Roy vs the Mavs, going HAM and scoring 18 of his 24 in the 4th quarter. That was the closest I've ever come to crying during a basketball game.

2010, Goran Dragic coming off the bench and scoring 23 pts in the 4th against the Spurs. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. I'm not sure anyone was.

There was a triple overtime or maybe quadruple overtime game Portland played at Milwaukee in the early 2000's. Might have even been before 2000. Craziest game I've ever seen.

I remember Pippen actually should have won the game with a clutch three but they called it a two. Blazers pulled it out. The game was incredible.

Also Brandon Roy game 1 vs Mavs. Unbelievable.
