Curry, Westbrook, Wall are all better. You're stupid if you think otherwise.

Wall? I don't think so.
CP isn't that impressive this year as past years but he still better than Wall, his AST/TO ratio is incredible and his shot is money from mid range or 3pt. Wall's broken jumper doesn't allow him to take over in the end of the game.

Curry and Westbrook are better. 3rd place is arguable.

Wall's shot may not be perfect, but he can score efficiently. 18/10 on 46% is still really good.

With logic and reasoning like this...how could we disagree? I really enjoyed reading HOW they are all better.

Come on. CP3 is still better than Wall. He is clearly 3rd.

Derrick Rose is still #1.

20/5/2 on 40% shooting. :applause:

And people call this guy a mental midget? FOH

He might be a top point guard. But point guards of his style can't win games anymore unless they have better pieces around them.

No point guards can win without great pieces and coaching. PG is the most overrated position in the sport.

Give me a good center over a great PG any day of the week.

Sure but it isn't better than CPs offensive game, if you had a team down one would you rather give the ball to CP or Wall?

CP and it isn't close. Wall is terrible in the clutch.

Wall's shot may not be perfect, but he can score efficiently. 18/10 on 46% is still really good. But when CP puts up those same type numbers on much higher efficiency on a team with a better record in a tougher conference it doesn't matter right. I hate y'all man.

Chris Paul. Wall isn't a clutch player

We've had this thread at least 30 times a season since Pauls debut..

Sooner or later it will be true.

Paul is literally better than Wall at everything.

Only ones that can be argued over Paul are dominant scoring PGs that can win games on their. There are only 3 such players, Westbrook/Curry/Kyrie. Anyone else you put over Paul makes you look retarded. Especially John airbWall.

He's arguably Top 3 ... In all honesty, I'm gonna evaulate most of these PGs in the postseason, when there isn't as much cherry picking.

Exactly why I can't rank Wall > Paul.

Wall had a significant dropoff last Playoffs, as most players do. Paul wasn't exactly dominant, but he clearly separated himself from most of the players mentioned.

thread backfire... CP3 may not be the "best pg", however you want to quantify that, but he is definitely Top 3 in most people books.

Right on cue he goes for 25 points, 13 assists, 6 rebounds and 2 steals in a WIN over Dallas tonight.

Chris Paul is a point guard in its truest form.

Curry, Westbrook, Kyrie and Lillard are all 2 guards who play point. They are blind scorers.

Chris Paul is a point guard, still the very best in the game IMO

Rondo, with a stacked Dallas team has been putting up extremely weak numbers.

Rondo is another guy who is a point guard, not just a scoring, me-first guard, but CP3 has def outplayed Rondo this year, and every year

But since CP3's game isn't based on athleticism I predict he will still be top 3-5 (at least to most ppl) until he retires.

For sure. His game has changed to the point where he could easily be averaging 10pt/10 assists/2 steals while being a threat right until the very end.

Honest question -

Were you secretly hoping he'd have 13 and 8 in a loss?

I didn't mean it that way.

I know you root for the Clips, I also know 90% of the Clippers fans around here are constantly just itching to be anti Paul. Almost as if he's not a legit Clipper coz he wasn't drafted by them like Blake was.

Bullshit. Curry is a "pure" PG who just happens to be the best shooter in the history of the game.

Curry usually looks to facilitate first. "2 guard in a PG's body" may have been a somewhat accurate description 3 or 4 years ago. Not anymore.

While Paul isn't my favorite player, he's still someone I love to watch play and have since his days in New Orleans. And as long as he's a Clipper, I'll be rooting for him.
