Nas at his best is a treasure, simply can't be touched. The flow, the delivery, the imagery, the metaphors, the similes, multi-syllable/symbolic use any sort of wordage to describe great songwriting and it is there.

Every single line is a work of art. Every single line (and connecting line) is GOAT level worthy shit. Not a breath wasted.
Sure Zimmerman has great lyrics. But rapping is an art that Dylan touched upon briefly, yet doesn't come close to mastering. The rhyming and connecting of lines and words, using metaphors and similes in a rhythmic pattern makes it all that much more difficult. Specially in the manner that Nas spits. So sure, somebody can post a great song with great lines, but when analyzed with all of the elements put together, Nas' flow, cadence, delivery win out.
