Used to be Salami and Cheese until Leo ruined it by talking about 100 times a game and pressuring Chuck to say it.

Haven't listened to chuck in quite some time, but what happened to:
"Book it!"
"Ring it up!"
and
"I don't believe it!"

and the "Ball game over" before he says "raptors win, raptors win, raptors win"

When are you going to say it? You should of said it already Chuck...

Haha, I have noticed that still.

Agree.

I am starting to get annoyed with Chuck. When he is commentating will Leo he gets way off topic and they just talk about pointless stuff. When he is with Jack he is fine though. Jack seems to keep him in line.

Some of his quotes are really stupid. ( Parkerville )

Parkerville is Anthony Parkers idea. He asked Chuck to use that one for him.

Considering the simple fact that ive been listening to the man call our games for years now, Chucks ecentric style though at times can be a bit much & overwhelmingly tiresome to the ear I just cant help but to hold an emotional attatchment to his voice... Hes a great promoter of the Toronto franchise and you can clearly see how much passion he holds for the game and our city. Kinda reminds of the way Jim Ross is towards wrestling & the WWE...
But i must admit, whenever i get the chance to listen to the oppositions brodcast i jump all over the oppertunity. Ive always enjoyed hearing an alternative viewpoint over our ballclub...

I remember back during Chuck's fan590 days. There were at one time several "radio only" games, and Chuck kept me interested all game long, despite the fact that I wasn't able to watch it. I mean, Paul and Eric are ok, but I think it's great to have a guy who is as passionate and excited about the game as Chuck.

although, i live in the states now so I mostly only see American broadcasts.

Oh, I didn't know that. Parker, you should of came up with something better than that. I can't stand the Parkerville saying.

Amen to that.

Does Parkerville have some kind of significance?

They left out "He just took him to school!"

My favs: "oh baby what play!" and "onions baby, onions!"

Chuck is definately one of the best overall...and the best team based play by play man.

Also, the "bleeding profusely" comments.

I forget the exact story on this, it can be found somewhere I'm sure.. I'm just too lazy at the moment.

Leo developed that because Chuck broke it out in the first half of a game that the Raptors ended up losing. That game? 99% sure it was the Kobe 82 points game. That's why Leo kept on about it. Still really annoying that he did, but at least there was some reason/context that from then on he always pressured Chuck about when to bust it out.
