lol you realize that the Rockets have 2 rings, because Hakeem won 2 with about the least stacked teams of all time to win a ring?

Maybe he shouldn't have gotten his dad killed then :confusedshrug: Really though, you have to be an absolute idiot to count Rockets rings as asterisks.

Obviously the Lakers are a better franchise.

But this dude acting like the Rockets have 0 rings must have started watching 5 years ago

Ah yes, the old trick of throwing salt in an open wound, torturing a captive enemy soldier, for no real purpose just amusement, that's how you get your kicks YouGotServed, kicking a man while he is down? Letting another get your kicks for you while you laugh and point, you are the king and the word is your jester. If so, you are nothing more than a common scoundrel, a mental peasant with no real life capabilities, and a sorry excuse for a human being. You will fall face first and break your f*cking teeth dickwad.

The Lakers are the premiere franchise in basketball, and the likelihood of that changing seems slim to none, especially not by a rocket franchise with only 2 championships.

:coleman: :coleman:

i think what you meant to say was Jordan returned in 95 to play less than 20 regular season games, and after he got his legs under him the bulls won another 3 straight titles

20 games that season after no injuries? Excuses.

Dude had better numbers in the 95 playoffs than he did in 96.

What's the point of this thread again?

It isn't like the Lakers are long overdue for some lottery seasons. I mean, they did win 5 championships in 7 Finals appearances since the 1990's. For example, look at the Knicks, who haven't made the Eastern Conference Finals since the 2000 playoffs, with 10 losing seasons in only the 21st century. Another example is the Rockets, who have had eight 1st round exits out of their last nine postseason appearances, not to mention that one time they got out of the 1st round, their franchise player gets injured midway in the 2nd round. It's great to see franchises that didn't accomplish much in the 21st century, whether in the regular season or in the playoffs, have an opportunity to win a title like the Warriors, Hawks, and Trail Blazers.

Sports isn't suppose to be fair, the franchises who make a better job in forming a good team with great coaches take the trophy home.
Knicks front office have been a mess, no wonder they don't win titles in 40 years.
Lakers front office took good decisions, made good trades and they end up being the greatest franchise in the NBA. It isn't by chance.

I agree, my main point was that every team has to lose at some point.

Thanks man, repped.

Nothing personal, Kobe stans. You guys were getting a bit too cocky, just a reality check that's all.

Your team is now tanking and Houston is a legit title contender. The tables have turned. You guys stay loyal and enjoy watching Lin run lakeshow like prime Steve Nash.
