I'm finding that I probably have to replace it once or twice at year at times. Guess it depends on if you have carpeting or not.
You should ask that one dude. What's his face? HowardDirk51?

once or twice a year... good god.
all i have is the same old broom. i have a couple small throw carpets, but every once in a while i just take them up the roof and beat them senseless.
orecks apparently have lifetime warranties for their residential vacuums. works?

I bought a $40 vacuum at walmart about a year ago, it stills does the job in my small carpeted apartment

We've had ours 6 years but I have had to order 2 parts for it. Dogs, but only a handful of large rugs.

I have carpeting in my place of business so it's almost a daily thing.
But at home, I have 3 dogs and I'm having to vacuum at least 3-4 times a week.
