Who you got on this head to head match-up? Both seem equal in brains and equipment, while Spidey's guys have the edge in powers, Batman's crew has the edge in strategy.
Pick your top 6 for both groups and go head to head

Because of Batman's physical limitations, he has the weakest array of opponents.
Spiderman villains would win in a fight. I find batman villains more interesting though.

Batman's villains proven they are capable of strategizing and even outthinking Batman on many occasions. As a unit they may be able to outmatch the raw powers of Spidey's team. There isn't one true tactical guy on Spidey's team, whereas you can go with Joker, Bane, or Ra's Al Ghul to lead a team.

Batman's villains are definitely smarter (strategically at least, Spidey villains are a bit more science smart) and more interesting. Spidey's villains are more physically intimidating. In the end though, all that matters to me is who are more entertaining, which is the Batman villains to me.

My favourite villain is Venom so I'll go with Spiderman's villains

On the big screen at least Spiderman can't compete.

Penguin would get murked in there. I'd go with Killer Croc and Deadshot

Venom or Carnage or electro or sandman would crush them all
Also Doc Octopus is pretty smart

Joker is the GOAT villain by a ways out of the bunch, so Batman's villains.

They are also erratic in battle. If Batman can outwit Superman in one on one I think Joker would be able to handle these guys. Bane would handle them as well.

Pretty much.
There are only a couple of villains that could stand up to Spidy villains imo physically and resources. Batman villains are more interesting.

How is that for sure. Parker is also portrayed as very intelligent.

I prefer Spider-man's villains because they're personal to Peter Parker
Batman's biggest villains: Joker, Riddler, Penguin are all just mobsters.
Spidey's biggest villains: Green Goblin, Dr. Octopus, Lizard, Venom are Peter's best friend, science professor, teacher, rival.

I do agree that Spider-man has closer connections with the villains, but I think you are overlooking the connections Batman has to many of his villains.

I was emphasizing "biggest" villains as in most recognizable Batman villains are Joker, Riddler, Penguin. They are just mobsters that crossed Batman's path.
Spidey's "biggest" villains Goblin, Doc Ock, Lizard, Venom are all personally connected with Peter.

I don't really agree. The Batman-Joker dynamic alone is probably better than any superhero and his archenemy. They're legit polar opposites
Bruce Wayne isn't really the same as Peter Parker. Parker has a personality and a big part of his character is maintaining his two lives. Wayne is really just an extension or a mask for Batman. So their dynamic has more to with their motivations and psychology

I'm talking about the Joker outwitting the Spidey villain.
But on the subject of Spidey's fighting skills vs Batman, as smart as Spidey is, he's book smart, not a fighting tactician. Spidey relies on ability over wit and cunning. He's strong, agile, and has his Spidey sense, but his fighting approach is that of a teenager in a high school fight.
Back to the villains, Joker is as resourceful and cunning as Batman. Joker also has no sense of remorse, so his strategy ends up being more brutal. Given endless resouces I think he could take on any Spidey villain

Batman villains are GOAT, not because they can kick everyone's ass but because they have GOAT level personality. I would never bet against the Joker even though he has no real strength or powers like every single Spidey villain.
